about

The Neverending Story is arguably one of the greatest fantasy films that was released in the 1980s. Everyone in The Shores of Orion grew up with this film and it is a piece of art that we hold dear to our hearts. Looking online, we have come across hundreds of remixes to the main theme. However, we've hardly come across any original tributes. This is ours. A song that represents the nostalgia that we've held onto our whole lives given to us by this film.

In all actually, Moonchild is much more than a tribute song. Moonchild represents a callback to the child in all of us. A callback to a time when imagination is all we needed. A callback to a time when innocence wasn't tainted by the horrors of this world. A callback to the dreamer in all of us. It is a reminder that if something has moved you so deeply, don't ever be ashamed to hold onto it. Whether it's a piece of music, a movie, a old accessory, clothing, whatever it is, it's okay to hold those memories dear to your heart. Moonchild is a representation of those memories.

If this song speaks to you as it does to us, please share it. Thank you everyone for all your support these last few years. We've got some big projects coming this year and we are super excited to share more content with you. Stay tuned! ⭐

lyrics

Verse:
Am I Lost, in this world
I know I'm not alone
Cutting brand new paths
Looking for a way back home

Purpose feels like a memory
Of when dreams where real
And we fought for glory
Drifts away, with every passing day

Chorus:
Whatever sun rules your skyle
You are magic, you are mine
Mine all mine

Because our story never dies
There will always be a time
When you are mine

2nd Verse:
I'm trying to chase the stars
that are falling to the ground
I'm just passing time
Until the sun dies down

The days are harder now
The world is colder now
But the memory of our dreams
Keeps me running on

2nd Chorus:
Whatever sun rules your skyle
You are magic, you are mine
Mine all mine

Because our story never dies
There will always be a time
When you are mine

Mine all mine

Bridge:
We all are changing
The clock is running
But I won't give up
I'll make it back somehow

Just keep on searching
Till I find the key
I'll unlock the door
And set my moonchild free

Final Chorus:
Whatever sun rules your skyle
You are magic, you are mine
Mine all mine

Because our story never dies
There will always be a time
When you are mine

Children's Choir:
We are the stars at night
We are the hopes and dreams
We are imagination
We are everlasting
